No in all honesty I have watched him twice and he has looked great. He can skate a lot better then what I read in hockeysfuture. Is tuff as nails for his relatively small stature and his hockey I.Q seems to be much better then I heard. He also has a very hard, heavy shot. He kind of reminds me of a smaller Matt Frattin, except better.

This is a very SSS, a Ranger fan should be able to tell you more...

I had thoughts of scooping him before this thread started and acted on those thoughts shortly after this thread went up, which was around the time he had a strong game against my Pens. This was one of his first games upon being called up and the kid was not intimidated in the least. He has the wheels and a decent IQ. The kid has that gamer mentality and a desire to win. Guys like that fly under the radar for only so long. Torts must like him because he's made his way up from the 3rd to the first line now.

Hagelin has now gone 36 straight games (reg.season + playoffs) without a goal! Only 6 assists during that time. Pointless in the 7 games this season so far. He's in some serious slump. He's still getting the minutes as he's a hard worker and a good two-way player but that probably won't continue much longer if he doesn't start scoring soon.
