Trying to figure out if I should stay put with Kris Medlen.

Wait, so we're only ranking the top 5 to target from that list instead of Medlen? Who else were you thinking of keeping instead of Medlen? I love his RP eligibility for next year.

The top 5 to target is tough. That's a big list of awesome names lol Uhhh.....

clearly better, lee, GioG, bumgarner,
similar: zimmerman, sabathia, moore

Lee: his stats are amazing last year, the only down thing was wins, and if you watched him pitch it was partly the team, and mostly freakish bad luck. He could win 30 this year just to make up for all of the 1 and 2 run games he lost from bad luck last year (run support is a mix of the hitters and the luck they score on the days you start)

Gio- there will be regression, but he was great last year, and the Nats are a real team (i know i just pointed out that run support is partly luck, but it is still partly team)

Bumgarner- He has all of the tools, and has been making the right steps the last few years. He is basically a fantasy ace that only gets knocked down a little since he seems to have 1 or 2 blow up starts each season.

Zimmerman- i go back to run support again here, at some point bad luck just becomes the norm, and he just does not win as many as his team and periferals should suggest. His K numbers are also starting to see a little decline (still good, but no longer elite).

Sabathia- the oppsosite of the rest of these guys, a great bet to win 20 games (the yankees hitters are just that good)

moore- at some point you make a move for upside, and he has kershaw level upside

I feel that Matt Moore will put it all together soon and become an ace, his stuff is filthy. I would be inclined to take a flier on him. I also like Bumgarner, Zimmerman and Sale.
