Good summary and I don't disagree with your analysis. My purpose of the post was to draw attention to the amazing play of a very hot new rookie.
I agree that the NHL is unlikely to award both the Calder and the Norris to the same player in the same year. Even Bobby Orr didn't pull that off.
Lets be clear Edmonton not only won the lottery for the first overall pick which landed Yakupov they won the FA sweepstakes with the Schultz signing.
Schultz may turn out to be even better than Yakupov but I accept that it will take a few more games to make that true assesment but no doubt if Schultz continues to produce the way he has started off it will certainly raise some serious buzz.
