we have a new gm in our league and he is making the team his own. wants to go young. i offered ryan johansen, orlov and a 2nd for vanek and moulson(starting offer) he has counterd with moulson for johansen and a 1st . i don't think he"s worth the first . but if it were vanek?..... so who would you rather have? moulson or vanek?

I would prefer to have Vanek and i'm not a big fan of Johansen personaly.

I would probably take Vanek VS Johansen and 1st but where will that 1st be ? if its a top 5 and get guys like Drouin , Barkov, maybe a dont do the trade.

if not i'll do it for sure Vanek is a proven 60-75 pts guy... Who knows how long it will take for Johansen in this boring team....

but try a 2nd or 3rd instead of 1st..

thanks for the breakdown sharp. ends up he wouldn"t move vanek, but he accepted johansen and a 2nd waiver pick for moulson. i think i still made out well in this deal.

I think you came out well in your trade getting Moulson. Would have preferred Vanek myself, but for what you gave up, Moulson is definitely a good get.

I would take Moulson over Vanek without any hesitation whatsoever.
