Unfortunately at first glance your team doesn't look great. It really sucks that you had to settle with Voracek as your 4th pick, due to disconnect.

This is probably a lower half team.

The positives are that you have Stamkos, and in a short season he could be money more so than usual. Your D is very solid, not a bad player on it. Goalies while not great, won't be bad.

Hmm any first thoughts about who I should try and get rid of, or trade?

At first glance I would drop Vrbata for someone on the FA wire. Who's available to be picked up? There are ~130 forwards in your league and I'm sure if you scour the FA wire you can find better options. In an 11 team league there should also be some goalies available, although they probably aren't an upgrade on Niemi or Smith. Your defense is fine, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I think you are going to be light on assists. I am not sure I am in love with your bottom 5 group of forwards. Your defensemen are strong. I think Mike Smith will be a key for you. If he can have a season like last year then you will have strong goaltending and be in decent shape
