In my other 14 team league (not the Dobber one), I'm in 13th place with a 3-7 record. However, I've scored the fourth most points, but unfortunately have faced a potent opposition most weeks, so when I struggle a bit offensively I have no chance to win.

Digging into the numbers - I've averaged nearly 89 points per week, while my opposition has averaged 101. In contrast, one of the co-leaders (7-3) has scored on average 86 points per week and his opposition only 73. We faced each other this past weekend, and while I only scored 83 (not great but not horrible either) he happened to blow up and score 117. He's scored over 100 one other time (surprisingly he lost) and his next best performance has been 85 points. Some of his victories include: 74-65, 75-66, 81-75, 82-47 and 81-47.

Though I can't blame all my struggles on bad luck as I've been very inconsistent. I've scored over 100 points four times (won three) but out of the rest of my losses 83 has been my best score, two others in the 70s and three below 70. I just wish in one or two of those 70s/80s performances my opposition could have struggled as well, which is usually quite common, to give me a shot at a playoff berth. Now I'm two games out with three weeks to go, and both my starting RB are on a bye this coming week. Maybe I'll be able to fluke something and sneak in, but unlikely.

Lastly and strangely, nine out of my ten matchups have had a margin of victory no less than 36 points! The other was losing 111-104 in week nine.
