Awesome info, thank you for taking the time to share it. He and Grachev together next year would be awesome if they develop some chemistry, could only pad his totals if that happened. Del Zotto looked pretty good tonight, a couple missed assignment but some great feeds and he moved the play forward quickly. Hoping he sticks!

to add on... (1000 character limit) ..... im thinking something like 30 pts if he gets stuck in the 3rd line, with injury and top 6 minutes and line mates, i can see a possible 50...i think he oculd be a 65-75 pt player down the road. he is a future top 6 center...maybe not a first liner, but you can never really let anything go by when the russians are involved. Add Grachev to his line in a year or 2 and they could be unstoppable

People pegging him as a 3rd liner i think are selling him short. He has what i call deceptive speed, you see him use random bursts, highlight reel goals in the preseason. He got PP time against the pens. put up 81 in AHL. his chance to shine will be WHEN someone goes down (gabby, Kotalik). people that say Prospal at center are out of their minds. He played center prior to his NHL career, and i dont think dubinsky has the upside that anisimov has, but dubi certainly has the drive and bulk to drive hard, so he takes the cake. I drafted Anismov in the middle rounds in comish's dyanasty and i feel like it may be a few years, but with injury prone guys, he will see more time and a test of his abilities earlier than we expect. Its gonna be a matter of line mates and if he gets quality time, He has to prove himself, but i feel like withing 2-3 years he should be permanant top 6.

Seems like you are a bit of an authority on the Rags. What do you see in Anisimov's future this year?
