No doubt Hartnell is more of a multi-cat stud than Kovy, but the Kovy/JVR combo has too much upside, even this season. Kovy has discovered chemistry on a line with Henrique who's really emerged as a sparkplug for that team this season. I expect Kovy to pick it up (he' sgot 16 in 20 so it's not like he's playing terribly), whereas I also expect hartnell to slow down from a points perspective. It's unfortunate JVR got injured after you made the deal, but I really do believe at some point this season he will play with Giroux and we already know from last years playoffs that those guys have amazing chemistry.

This one it's closer, even though I still think you'll come out ahead, but in future years it won't even be close.

Hey, thanks for the advice re: Kovi/JVR for Hartnell/Horton. Apparently I need to spread some rep around before I give you some more otherwise I would. I did the deal because I think it's good long term, but I'm just curious why you are confident in the short-term benefits of this deal. Hartnell is a stud in my format although I think he's a sell-high which is why I did it, but Kovi isn't exactly giving me much faith in any short term upside (in ANY cats vs. Hartnell). Are you seeing something I'm not? I trust your judgement, just wondering. Thanks again - norrisdivision
