This makes me sad. I really like Bogosian as a multi-cat option and I was hoping to own him in one of my leagues but now this kind of turns me off lol.

Paul Postma. The dude is an offensive machine. With Bogosian's injury, he'll be a regular in the lineup. He would have likely been the 6th/7th before hand, but now it would be a mistake for the Jets not to get him in regularly. This is a great, under the radar signing for any fantasy owner in need of a defenseman who's known for lighting the lamp.

I've been waiting for him to be an NHL regular since 09 when he was lighting it up in Chicago.
True story. I watched a St. John's vs Wilkes-Barre/Scranton playoff game and he looked real good. He looked good QBing the powerplay.

Since there is a lockout, his injury may be moot. What I don't get are all the training videos I see of him (one in todays ramblings). He doesn't look like he's suffering, he looks ready to roll.

Last update was wrist surgery in late august. He's supposed to be out till late February. It was supposed to be 4-6 months.

From Fantrax:

Quote:
Zach Bogosian (wrist) is on schedule

Zach Bogosian had a screw removed from his surgically repaired wrist last week and his recovery is believed to be on schedule. He underwent the procedure over the summer and the projected timeline for his return was set at four to six months. If the NHL begins a shortened season in mid-January, it would be just over the four-month period, so Bogosian may not be ready to go by then and his presence on the back end would be sorely missed.

The guy comes into my bar once in awhile and last time I talked to him (just over a week ago), he's on schedule. So by mid-February he should be a go.

P.s. He is a great guy. Definition of a man-child.
