The August Top 100 Roto PDF marks the last edition of Volume 2.0. It was a good run, but Volume 3.0 will offer tons of new goodies (read on for more). In this issue, Brendan Ross shares his thoughts on the 2012 Canada-Russia Challenge, and our well-respected forum member, Pengwin7, shows us how to effectively draft a balanced team by drafting balanced players. Two fantastic must-read reports.
Congratulations to Claude Giroux, Erik Karlsson and Jonathan Quick. Their mug shots will be showcased on DobberHockey’s banner for the upcoming 2012-13 season. In case you missed the voting session, we are currently down the final poll – the wildcard. One of Steven Stamkos, Alex Pietrangelo, or Carey Price will join the winners above in all of their glory. Voting ends Saturday August 18th.
In other news, the NHL Team Coverage crew via the DobberHockey forums has recruited a handful of fresh faces. Joining the team are CHR17 (Washington), InnocentBystander (St. Louis), Fighting Emu (Carolina), Fast Tony DeNiro (Columbus), NoWayOut (Dallas) and sixhands (Tampa Bay). If you have any burning questions, give these gents a try – Eastern Conference & Western Conference. Interested in joining the crew? Two teams remain, the Minnesota Wild and the Phoenix Coyotes.
As mentioned above, Volume 3.0 kicks off next month. It will be a jam packed edition that will include a modified look and additional lists for combo ranks (ie: G+SOG). The Top 100 will also undergo its offseason clean up and will permanently feature player breakdowns for highlighted performers.
Until then, enjoy the read.
