Kamil Piros has signed to play in Germany next season.
Boston Globe's Fluto Shinzawa is blogging that David Krejci has been the best player in Boston camp and it is looking like he has a real shot at playing in the NHL all season. Thanks to TG for the link.
Francois Bouchard will be rocketing up my prospects list with this news - he has been by far the best rookie in prospect camp for the Caps, a bold statement considering Niklas Backstrom is in camp as well. TJ Oshie has been the best player in prospect camp for St. Louis so far. He will remain at the University of North Dakota this season, but at No. 71 on my prospects list, he bears watching for the future.
According to the Newark Star-Ledger, the Devils are closing in on a long-term agreement with Zach Parise.
Steve Rucchin, suffering from concussion symptoms, failed his physical recently. He is a dropsy.
