Fantasy Impact: The Chicago Blackhawks have signed the ageless Andrew Brunette to a one-year deal.
The Blackhawks get: A steady, reliable power-play specialist, but Brunette doesn't have any 50-point years left in him.
Fantasy Players Impacted: I don't see any way that Brunette cracks this team's seven most offensive forwards: Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa, Patrick Sharp, Michael Frolik, Dave Bolland and Bryan Bickell. So this pushes Viktor Stalberg and Rusty Olesz back.
Fantasy Players this helps, in order: None. I think Brunette gets his 40-45 points on any team, regardless.
Fantasy Players this hurts, in order: 1. Stalberg 2. Olesz
