Do you like free money? Do you think you can beat Dobber? Check out this contest we have put together with the fine folks over at Fan Duel.

Date: Saturday 15th March 2011

Prizes: $250 prize pool + $5 for any users who manages to beat Dobber

Rules:

If your team scores more fantasy points than your opponent(s), you win!
Each player has a salary, and you only have $55k to spend.
You must pick the following positions: LW, LW, RW, RW, C, C, D, D, G
The game starts this Saturday at 2pm EDT so enter before then.

Scoring
Goals = 3pts, Assists = 2pts, Plus-minus = 1pt, Penalty minutes = 0.5pts, Power play goals = 1pt, Power play assists = 1pt, Shots on goal = 0.4pts, Wins = 4pts, Shutouts = 2pts, Saves = 0.2pts, Goals against = -1pt

Tournament Rules

Finish above Dobber to win and extra $5.

Maaaaan. Had Rinne as my first pick (always success vs. Detroit), and then, I was missing some cap room, so I went for another pick I liked (and much cheaper) in Steve Mason.

So Rinne goes for the highest scoring G (so far) and Mason was benched for Garon today.

Standing as 48th, but any guy with guys from Western players will climb above me. Got only Kopitar left to play.
