The big event at the River Rock Casino/Resort was a lot of fun, and we have pictures to prove it! The staff at River Rock and within Lulu's Lounge were fantastic, the hockey talk was rampant and beverages were consumed. Here are the pics...
Jeff Angus and the DobberHockey graphics designer Glen "AngelofHarlem" Hoos
Some fantasy hockey fanatics, including the casino general manager Rick Duff (the suit) who took a moment to sit down with us as well. Longtime reader Garth "hockeylifer" Mooney on the lower left, and Sam up top in the middle, Dave on the upper left.
Some more readers. I may have trouble remembering names here, but I'll do my best. I know on the left is DAW, and in the middle is Tom "reeveta" Reeve, and on the right is John Turner of HockeyKnight.com
The giveaways, including the Vancouver Canucks autographed stick.
That's Marcus "Crazynuck" Schalle on the left
Jeff, Glen, John...
Myself between Angus and Hoos. I was holding that brown bottle for somebody.
Marcus wins the stick
Ed was one of the winners of the Canucks' book. In the background you can see some of the awesome spread laid out for us by the good folks at River Rock. More food than two dozen fantasy fanatics could wolf down.

Angus OK I'll buy the 185lb but you cannot deny that all the pictures show a glass of water in front of you. Are you THAT guy, Angus? Water at a pub guy? |

... Dobber I have to say you need to come out to Vancouver more often. Canucks At Forty was a great prize to win also. |

Good stuff Thanks for the pics - as RT says - looks like it was a fun time. I don't know about others but I tend to create a mental picture of other users in my mind and I have to tell you that Reveeta is uncannily similar to the picture I had of him - Crazynuck the most dissimilar to my picture. |
