The Florida Panthers have signed defenseman Dennis Seidenberg to a one-year deal worth $2.25 million
Fantasy Impact: Don't expect too much from Seidenberg. He has talent, but last year's 70 games are a career high and his AHL games played record is spotty as well. However, his presence in the lineup will hurt Ville Koistenen, who stood to possibly blossom as a quarterback. That would seem doubtful now, not that it was all that optimistic in the first place. This should not affect the likes of Brian McCabe or Keith Ballard. If anything, it eases their workload a little and makes them better for it.

... Is it realistic to place Seidenberg with McCabe on the top PP, with Leopold and Ballard making up the second pair (as they are close buddies?). If so, that would be sweet. If not, Seids won't have much value. |

... I've been waiting for this article. The team I took over in a salary cap dynasty/keeper league had Koistinen and Seidenberg as there best d-men. |
