The Lightning have acquired forward Todd Fedoruk and defenseman David Hale from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for forward Radim Vrbata
The Lightning get: Depth on the point and some toughness. They also shed Vrbata's salary, although they could have suspended him if he wanted to stay in Europe. This indicates to me that he does not and would have reported.
The Coyotes get: Their goal-scorer back. Vrbata was huge in Phoenix, especially in the first half of 2007-08. He had 27 goals and 56 points that year, which included a lengthy point-per-game hot streak and an equally lengthy cold streak.
Fantasy Impact: Vrbata gains immediate fantasy credibility. His presense boosts the second line and there is no reason to believe that he would be unable to produce 50 points from there. Petr Prucha is now off the second line and Kevin Porter is back in San Antonio.

... Who pushes Upshall out of the top 6? Doan - Lombardi - Mueller Upshall? - Hanzal - Vrbata |

... If I was a betting man I would say Vrbata will push 60 points - psychological factor weighs big here. |
