The Leafs have traded Nik Antropov to the Rangers for a second-round pick and a conditional draft pick.
The Leafs get: draft picks. Surprising that they could not get a player back.
The Rangers get: a second-line player capable of playing all three spots up front. He was miscast as a first liner, but on the second line he should flourish. I think he'll get close to a point per game in New York and free things up a bit for the other top sixers.
Fantasy players impacted: Antropov's production will be status quo, although expect a 'POP' for about two weeks. He could also get Nik Zherdev going, which is good news for Zherdev owners.
With Antropov out of the mix, you can add about three minutes a game to Mikhail Grabovski's ice time, which helps Grabovski owners for sure.
