As expected, the Boston Bruins have signed Blake Wheeler to a contract.

Wheeler played with Phil Kessel in Minnesota one season, so expect the two to line up together again on the third line. While Kessel should break out a little and clear 50 points, I would not expect Wheeler to crack even 50 in the season ahead. In fact, he could use a year in the AHL...but we'll see if Dave Lewis agrees.
