The day has arrived, and it’s time to begin the back-to-back nights of Games 7 in the NHL. The first is tonight with Tampa Bay going into Madison Square Garden to face the Rangers, with Chicago and Anaheim going on Saturday night back in California. This is well-timed for the NHL; baseball is still early in the season, and the NBA Final doesn’t start until next week. This is two games, with four very good teams, on two weekend nights, and nearly the highest stakes imaginable for NHL playoffs. This is an opportunity for the NHL to get some exposure to people who may not necessarily fans.
New York is looking to get back into the playoffs for the second consecutive season, and a
