Marian Hossa will not play today, but is hopeful that he will get in the lineup Wednesday.
After going 14 games without a point, Mike Fisher finally potted two goals.
Nick Lidstrom will be a gametime decision for today's contest.
Tomas Holmstrom pulled his groin in practice Friday and will miss today's contest against Nashville.
Jozef Stumpel, out 17 games with a shoulder injury, is hoping to return Wednesday.
Steve Bernier missed last night's game for Buffalo with a groin injury. Is there something wrong with the Buffalo ice?
Zdeno Chara will miss today's contest with an upper body injury. Matt Lashoff, hovering around the 200 mark on my top fantasy prospects list, has been recalled to take his spot.
David Legwand does not have a broken foot, according to X-rays, but further testing is needed and he is wearing a protective boot. Don't expect him to play today.
By the end of last night's contest, Colorado's lines looked like this: Sakic with Forsberg and Brunette, Stastny with Wolski and Hejduk. It looks like the PP featured Sakic with Wolski and Hejduk, followed by Stastny with Forsberg and Brunette. Why they tweaked the lines for the PP is beyond me, but they won the game so it worked.
Despite rumors that Mattias Ohlund could miss the rest of the season because of bone chips in his knee, he played last night.
Mikhail Grabovski could be on a new team next year. He was a healthy scratch Thursday and so he went AWOL. He wanted to talk to his agent about his future. He admitted later that it was a mistake and apologized to his team. No disciplinary action was taken, but he was a scratch again yesterday and likely won't play today either. Asked if he would return to the RSL, Grabovski said that he will honor his contract. He is unsigned for next year. This could be trouble, as Grabovski was rapidly rising up my prospects list and would have been top 50 had it not been for this news. The list will be updated later today.
