Paul Kelly, head of the NHLPA, was on the Bill Watters Show on AM640 last night (where I make an appearance every Tuesday at 5:40pm - FYI). Kelly had something to say regarding Alexander Radulov: "I have spoken to both the player and his agent and he made a decision... and now we are working with both of them to get him out of it, frankly. I have it on extremely good authority that the player wants to return and play in the NHL." Unbelievably...I'm going to bump his odds of a return this season to 10%. Thanks to locoman in the forum for the link.

The Dispatch is reporting that Jared Boll's hand has not yet healed enough for him to fight. He won't be fighting during training camp and probably not early in the season either.

Luke Decock reports in the newsobserver that Eric Staal has added six pounds on his frame and cut down his body fat dramatically. To me - that's a perfect summer for a player, not like what happened to Carey Price. As I commented last week, 25 pounds of weight loss is too far.

Richard Zednik was back on the ice for Florida and was at 100 percent.

The Flyers will hold their four-day rookie camp on Monday. Attendees include Steve Downie, Claude Giroux, Andreas Nodl, Ryan Parent and Luca Sbisa. NOT in attendance is James van Reimsdyk, who is back to college this season.

I wrote yesterday's Fantasy Spin. You can check it out here .

Marcus Nilson has apparently signed a contract with CSKA Moskva of the KHL. He is still under contract with Calgary, but the two parties are apparently trying to get around that without upsetting the NHL.
