Draft Street 600x600 hockey4 freeroll300

Challenge Dobber by picking the better single-day fantasy team. SATURDAY March 23 at 2PM - win your share of $300...details below.

If you haven't heard yet, there’s a new way to play fantasy hockey that turns the season-long grind into quick-hitting one-night leagues. And you can win cash just as easily. Draft a team for one night and get paid out as soon as the games end that night. DraftStreet.com is at the forefront of this new trend in the fantasy world and is giving us a great promotion:

A FREE one-day fantasy league - for Tuesday's games - with $300 in prizes exclusively for DobberHockey readers.

You read the likes of myself, Angus and the rest of the DobberHockey crew and perhaps you think "Man, I'd love to take them on in a fantasy league. I'd hand their ass back to them!" Well, not it's time to prove it. Here's your chance. Friday's games, you pick your team, we'll pick ours. Takes two minutes. Though, you'd be advised to put more thought into it than that if you want to take on the likes of me. Win bragging rights. Oh...and also cash!

This free contest will be salary-cap style drafting where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the available players. You have a $100,000 budget to build a team of 2 LW, 2 RW, 2 C, 2 D, 1 G, and a FLEX. Each NHL player has been allocated a price based on their expected fantasy performance.

You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Saturday, March 23rdh at 2:00pm ET at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.

CLICK HERE to sign up for free by Tuesday and join the DobberHockey $300 Freeroll on DraftStreet.com. And don't feel ashamed if you end up seeing your name far below that of mine. But hey, feel proud of your participation ribbon...

DraftStreet 25th place for Zammer, where did Dobber finish? Poor value from my goalie selection.

... Even though you have the date mentioned twice, bolded and underlined, there's still old references to other days like Tuesday and Friday. Wouldn't want to confuse my potential competition. I'm sure it wouldn't make a difference though as we all know Dobber readers are the smartest in hockey.

Love the freerolls by the way, keep 'em coming.

... LOL - no. Instant loading, normal scrolling. Perhaps it was a blip. Or check your own computer. I put in a new video card a couple weeks ago and suddenly all the sites that gave me scroll trouble were fixed

DraftStreet...? Anybody else have the experience that the DraftStreet site takes FOREVER to load anything up? New page loads, navigation, acknowledging that you've clicked the mouse, or scrolled down... everything seems to happen in super-duper slow motion.
